She found New Choices and eagerly enrolled, hopeful and excited for how it could impact her future. Carolina said the program taught her about personal values and boundaries, in addition to how to set and achieve goals. She also learned about the various community resources that could help her reach those goals. Throughout her journey with New Choices, she was inspired by the success stories of previous New Choices graduates. Carolina said she would recommend this program to any woman who is looking for a new direction in life.
Where is she now?
After graduating from the New Choices program, Carolina was able to find a job at Rodriguez Language Services. She is now a successful professional interpreter and making nearly $7 more per hour than she was when she worked in manufacturing.
