Career transitions for justice involved individuals
Individuals transitioning out of incarceration face incredible challenges and barriers to finding a job with a family-sustaining wage. In order to help this population succeed, we work with The Program for Offenders and the Allegheny County Treatment Alternative (ACTA) to empower these individuals to build communication skills, create a pathway to self-sufficiency, and ultimately support themselves and their families.
Job Club
Throughout the year, we team up with BNY Mellon to host Job Club – a series of meetings to help current and former PA Women Work clients build career and interview skills. Whether its help crafting an eye-catching resume, sprucing up a LinkedIn profile, or preparing for an interview, participants can choose the right Job Club meeting based on their specific needs, and we’ll work together, alongside BNY Mellon volunteers, to help reach their goals.
