Programs

Our Programs

Pennsylvania Women Work offers programs to help individuals succeed. We provide support in addressing and overcoming barriers and help build confidence, professional skills, and get people on the path to finding meaningful, lasting employment.

Our life-changing programs include…
NEW CHOICES - This transformative program helps clients build their confidence, discover their futures and work toward economic stability. Clients receive individualized support and training to help them overcome obstacles and achieve success both personally and professionally.

3 CUPS OF COFFEE® - This short-term mentoring program matches job-ready women with a volunteer professional mentor. They meet for three casual conversations and create a customized plan that identifies career goals and job possibilities while networking and building connections.

CUSTOMER SERVICE FIRST-CLASS - Using curriculum created by DDI, participants learn critical communication and professional skills transferable to almost any job. At course completion, clients receive a professional certification and gain access to local employers.

RISE (REFUGEE AND IMMIGRANT SERVICES FOR EMPLOYMENT) - A program for immigrants and refugees, RISE offers individualized career services, including assistance developing a resume, support in transferring professional skills and credentials, introductions to employers, and advice for adjusting to the American workplace.

GROW (GENERATIONS REALIZING OCCUPATIONAL WELLNESS) - In a classroom setting with holistic support, GROW teaches young parents from underserved communities how to set personal career goals, seek jobs online, make a better impression at interviews, manage household finances, and find a balance between parenting and worklife.
