Circle of Hope Gala 2017
Thank you to all of our generous sponsors, silent auction donors, volunteers, attendees and everyone else who made this year's Circle of Hope event such a great success!
Pennsylvania Women Work’s premier fundraising event each year is the Circle of Hope gala. This event, which is held each fall in downtown Pittsburgh, honors a business leader from the Pittsburgh region for his/her commitment to Pennsylvania Women Work. In addition to this honor, several New Choices graduates are recognized with the Yvonne Zanos Women of Courage Award for their professional and personal success. All proceeds of the evening benefit Pennsylvania Women Work programs.
The 17th Annual Circle of Hope event was held on October 11, 2017, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Fairmont Pittsburgh. This year’s Circle of Hope Honoree was Tacy Byham, CEO of DDI. DDI has been an ongoing supporter of our organization for many years, and we are extremely grateful for their involvement. We are also thankful for our Honorary Co-Chairs: Mona Dine of HarbisonWalker International, and Deborah Lee of PNC Bank.
This year, we also gave a special honor--a Lifetime Achievement Award--to Nieves Stiker, the master teacher of our New Choices program. For over 20 years, Nieves has illuminated our classrooms with her skill and insight, transforming the lives of countless clients. During this year's celebration, we shared the story of her earlier life in community service, and a video that allowed colleagues, friends and family, and a few of the women whose lives she has changed to thank her in their own words.

This year's gala featured a plated dinner, cash bar, music and silent auction.
Thank you again to everyone who made this year's Circle of Hope such a wonderful evening. We hope to see you all again next year!
