Position Summary
The Manager of Participant Learning will work across our RISE, New Choices, and 3 Cups of Coffee programs to provide career development training and one-on-one coaching support. This role will support new Americans in the RISE program and various populations/participants in the New Choices and 3 Cups of Coffee programs, fostering their professional growth and facilitating connections to resources.

Position Summary
The Manager of Participant Learning will work across our RISE, New Choices, and 3 Cups of Coffee programs to provide career development training and one-on-one coaching support. This role will support new Americans in the RISE program and various populations/participants in the New Choices and 3 Cups of Coffee programs, fostering their professional growth and facilitating connections to resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
RISE Program (35-40% of hours, combination virtual/in-person in community)
- Participate in participant recruitment processes.
- Employ various job search and career development methods to support RISE participants.
- Create and update resumes for participants.
- Assist with job applications, background documentation, and credentialing processes.
- Engage with potential employers through partnerships, networking events, job fairs, and informational events.
- Ensure required documentation and evaluations are completed.
- Meet individually with new clients to assess their situations, explain PA Women Work’s services, and create personalized service plans.
- Review and enhance participant resumes and other professional documents.
- Develop individual career and development plans, coaching participants toward their goals.
- Connect participants with employers and training providers suitable for their career and education goals.
- Maintain relationships with wraparound service providers, making referrals as needed.
- Register participants for chosen services, ensuring they have all the required information.
- Lead training and facilitate small group classes both virtually and in-person as needed.
- Support the Director of Programs in enhancing existing curricula and developing new materials.
- Assist in delivering programs such as Communicating for Success and New Choices.
- Collaborate with the Director of Programs and team members on client engagement, curriculum, and overall program development.
- Identify tools, resources, and best practices for ongoing program improvement.
- Collect and maintain data, client notes, and other information as requested.

- Create, revise, and manage the administration of data collection instruments, extracting meaningful insights from the data.
Data Analysis and Reporting (40-60% of hours, combination virtual/in-person)
- Serve as the lead manager and technician for our client Case Management CRM (Sumac by Societ), ensuring all Programs staff are trained and using the system consistently.
- Develop consistent definitions for data analysis and reporting metrics.
- Manage day-to-day data collection, entry, and analysis for reports, ensuring accuracy and meaningful insights.
- Work with staff to understand their data needs and provide analysis and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
- Create internal documents and support the creation of external documents summarizing evaluation and learning results.
- Facilitate discussions that support data interpretation and decision-making.
- Lead the codification and documentation of program evaluation processes.
- Collaborate with the Development team to ensure compliance with funders, state, and federal contracts, providing timely and accurate data for all reporting requirements.
Research (10-30% of hours, combination virtual/in-person)
- Research promising practices in workforce development and the state of women in Pennsylvania, incorporating findings into PA Women Work programs and deriving implications for our work.
