Photo and Video Intern
PWW is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who wants to gain more experience photographing events and programs, as well as video shooting and editing experience for social media and website. Working approximately 45 hours per month on a project-based schedule, the qualified candidate will attend in-person events to capture professional quality images and work alongside the Director of Communications to support special video projects as needed. This position will be paid a monthly stipend.

- Support the Communications Specialist and Director of Communications on an event- and project-based schedule
- Attend in-person career development programs to capture professional quality images to be used on PWW’s website, social media, newsletters and more
- Assist in taking professional headshots for job-seekers and editing the photos for delivery
- Work alongside Director of Communications and Communications Specialist on special video project
- Capture video of clients, staff and volunteers and edit video to compile minute-long stories for use on social media and website
Qualifications
- Junior/Senior level student majoring in photojournalism, photography, communications, graphic design or similar program
- Must have professional photography and video experience or taken courses and are well versed and educated in photo and video editing
- Must be willing to attend various in-person programs, events and video shoots throughout fall semester
- Able to organize calendar and manage time to meet deadlines and be a reliable part of the team
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or other photo/video editing software

Additional information

- PA Women Work provides photography equipment including a nikon camera, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and laptop for use during internship
