PA Women Work is proud to spotlight South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM), a trusted community partner supporting families and refugees on their path to stability and long-term self-sufficiency. Through our partnership, SHIM serves as a welcoming front door—connecting individuals and families to PA Women Work’s services that help job seekers find sustainable employment.
Together, we expand access to employment services, improve outcomes for participants, and advance our shared commitment to helping families thrive across the South Hills.
As one SHIM service coordinator shared, “PA Women Work has been an incredible support for every client I’ve referred. They take the time to understand each person’s needs and connect them with the right resources.” In one case, PA Women Work provided hands-on job search support that helped a client secure employment just in time to avoid homelessness—support that continues to make a lasting difference.
SHIM looks forward to continuing this meaningful partnership as we work together to build a stronger, more connected community.
