RISE—Refugee and Immigrant Services for Employment
![]() Many foreign-born individuals come to the U.S. bringing unique skills, talents and backgrounds, but it can be difficult navigating the workplace in a new country. RISE is a career development program for immigrants, refugees, and asylees that offers individualized career services, including assistance developing a professional resume, support in transferring professional skills and credentials, introductions to local and regional employers, and advice for adjusting to the American workplace.
This program is designed for individuals who are legally authorized to work in the U.S., able to speak and write English, and trained in a professional skill or hold a certification or degree. RISE is supported in part by Marinus and Minna B. Koster Foundation, Inc. and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. |
