Become a Mentor
Make a difference in the life of a woman and help her succeed, one-on-one
Through three casual meetings, mentors help women in career transition create a customized plan that identifies goals and job possibilities, while networking and developing connections. With only a small time commitment, mentors make a big impact by helping mentees set themselves up for success in their career search. Crazy Mocha provides a location for meetings that is warm, welcoming and on neutral ground. Not only that, they provide vouchers for free coffee or tear during our 3 Cups of Coffee mentoring meetings.

Share your time and skills to make Pennsylvania Women Work stronger.
Pennsylvania Women Work thrives on the help of willing professionals who can add to our array of internal resources. Whether you’d like to speak in an upcoming class, meet one-on-one with some of our clients, or offer your skills and expertise in another way, we are always in need of helping hands. Volunteering with us also opens you up to networking opportunities with other like-minded professionals, and you might even find qualified individuals to add to your team.

Advocate for women
It only takes a few minutes to contact your legislators and make an impact
By taking just a few minutes to contact your legislator, you can make a huge difference in the lives of women across Pennsylvania by speaking up for the initiatives that provide our funding. Our advocates provide a voice for so many women who, for a variety of reasons, might not be able to speak up for themselves.

Expand your workforce by hiring qualified individuals in our network.
We are always looking to team up with employers who want to hire qualified, diverse individuals who can bring rich backgrounds and new skills to their team. When you join our employer network, we will help promote your job openings and recommend candidates for various positions.

Join our corporate advisory committee
Lend your skills and expertise to help shape the future of Pennsylvania Women Work.
Experienced professionals are welcome to apply for our Corporate Advisory Committee. Committee members serve as our visioning partners and help us maintain active connections within the workforce. They provide advice for programmatic changes and corporate-oriented fundraising, and serve as liaisons between their companies and our organization, helping us get more companies involved in relevant programming and networking with the right clients.

Host a class in your neighborhood
Work with us to support individuals in your community to become job-ready.
If our current class offerings are not at a convenient time or place, we’re here to work with members of the community to coordinate a program that is! These volunteers should reach out to us to let us know how many individuals are interested in a particular class, and we’ll work together to bring a class to your area.
To get started, reach out to Susan Showalter-Bucher, Senior Program Manager, at 412-904-1959 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
