Volunteer and Ambassador CouncilStay up-to-date with our organization’s latest volunteer opportunities and news.
New to our organization? Or maybe you’re a long-time supporter? Either way, the Volunteer and Ambassador Council is a great way to get involved. Council members support the organization’s mission by helping to generate community connections, raise funds, and strengthen services for clients. As a member, stay up-to-date on the organization’s current happenings and find out about upcoming volunteer needs, events, services and news. Learn how you can better serve our clients and provide insight and feedback at our quarterly meetings.

Become a mentorMake a difference in the life of a woman and help her succeed, one-on-one.
Through three casual meetings, mentors help women in career transition create a customized plan that identifies goals and job possibilities, while networking and developing connections. With only a small time commitment, mentors make a big impact by helping mentees set themselves up for success in their career search.

Virtual Mock InterviewsHelp prepare our clients for their next job interview.
Every month, we host virtual mock interview sessions for our clients. Being interviewed by a professional is critical in helping them prepare for upcoming job interviews. If you have experience interviewing candidates and are comfortable providing feedback and advice, this might be a good volunteer opportunity for you.

Employer Partner CommitteeAdvise PA Women Work on current hiring and job trends.
The Employer Partner Committee serves to strengthen our corporate connections and help develop a pipeline for potential employment opportunities for our clients. Meeting quarterly, this committee of HR thought leaders advises us on current job trends and workforce development needs and gaps to ensure our programming stays relevant and meets the needs of job-seekers and our region's employers.

Advocate for womenLend your skills and expertise to help shape the future of Pennsylvania Women Work.
By taking just a few minutes to contact your legislator, you can make a huge difference in the lives of women across Pennsylvania by speaking up for the initiatives that provide our funding. Our advocates provide a voice for so many women who, for a variety of reasons, might not be able to speak up for themselves.

Events and FundraisingHave some fun and help us plan our upcoming events!
Every year, we host our annual Circle of Hope Awards Dinner, and it takes a powerful group of passionate and creative volunteers to make this event a success year after year. Join our event committee for monthly meetings where you’ll be invited to provide insight, help with volunteer opportunities related to our events, gather items for our silent auction, and more.
