Circle of Hope Gala 2016

Pennsylvania Women Work’s premier fundraising event each year is the Circle of Hope gala. This event, which is held each fall in downtown Pittsburgh, honors a business leader from the Pittsburgh region for his/her commitment to Pennsylvania Women Work. In addition to this honor, several New Choices graduates are recognized with the Yvonne Zanos Women of Courage Award for their professional and personal success. All proceeds of the evening benefit Pennsylvania Women Work programs.
The 16th Annual Circle of Hope event was held on October 11, 2016 at the Fairmont Pittsburgh. This year’s Circle of Hope Honoree was Vicki Henn, Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer of The PNC Financial Services Group. PNC has been an ongoing supporter of our organization and we are extremely grateful for their involvement. We are also thankful for our Honorary Co-Chairs, Linda A. Dickerson and Cindy Keck.
This year’s honorary Yvonne Zanos Woman of Courage was Mary Lee Gannon, who is the President of St. Margaret Foundation and Founder and President of StartingOverNow.com. She shared her story of going from wealth to welfare and back again, using her own ingenuity and building her professional skills with the help of PA Women Work's programs, to become a noted business expert, executive coach, and published author.
